Assigning Grades after STAR Results

This approach is easy, but extreme.  For teachers or schools or districts that believe that grading should be strictly standards-based, then this approach will work.

Students taking a CST would initially receive a grade of I in the appropriate course, if the teacher elects this approach.

After scores are received, the district would assign the grades, if the teacher elected this approach or is not available.  Otherwise, the teacher would assign grades in August
